Additional Fees
Additional fees may be added for additional or unexpected tasks that were not included in your quote.
Your final invoice will be adjusted to reflect any changes to design and content which are often modified
during development. Any changes to your invoice will not be excessive, as I aim to be fair and flexible to
fit my client's needs and goals.
Some reasons for addition fees are as follows:

Design work for documents, publications or other design services requested.

Additional work, service and features requested during website development.

Excessive client support, including training or instructions via emails, calls, texts etc.
•
Travel compensation for meetings, photoshoots or training.

Required subscription or payment plans for services requested.

Additional Information
There will not be a charge for mistakes made by the web developer. (we’re human) There will be a
charge to correct mistakes made by the client. Such as giving incorrect information.
Occasionally features on a website will break that is the fault of a service, such as a shopping cart,
forums, hosting etc... This may happen when a service changes their coding or non-payment by the
client for the service. I cannot be held responsible for errors and security breaches which are caused by
a 3rd party service in changing, adding, updating or modifying any code on your site. I will not use an
unstable service intentionally therefore, I must charge for removal or substituting the service with an
adequate replacement if one is available.
Hosting and domain renewals are due yearly. The rates will depend on the type of hosting or domain
you require. Email management, third-party services, and website updates by request are not included.
Changes & Revisions During Development
We don’t want to limit your ability to change your mind or make decisions after your estimate when you
might be better informed. The price at the beginning of this project is based on the length of time we
estimate we’ll need to accomplish everything you’ve told us you want to achieve. If you need to change
your mind or add anything new, that won’t be a problem. Your invoice will be adjusted for the
difference to cover additional work.
Updates after Website is Developed
Updates are charged by the hour. Most tasks can be accomplished in a short amount of time. When
calculating an invoice, I am very conservative with the time I consider to be productive. Some of these
include the potential of researching something that has either changed or is new, or interruptions that
may come up while completing an update. I try to be as fair as possible to keep your billing time as
minimal as possible.
Down Payment
We ask for a down payment to ensure that the client follows through with their commitment on the
project before work is started and to see it through to the end. The remainder of the total will be
expected when the website is complete and the invoice is delivered to the client.

WHAT IS THE TYPICAL COST?
The golden question: to answer, every website is different and no two
websites cost the same. Every site is custom and tailored to the business;
meaning every quote and every price is also tailored to every project. Some
of the most basic sites can be as low as $1,000 while some of the most
complex, elaborate, sites can reach as high as $3,000 or more.
NO MONTHLY RATES! We don’t believe it’s fair to charge you for work we haven’t done,
so there’s no fees unless you request an update.
We understand that growing a business online can often become
expensive with so many options available. I believe you should only pay
for what you need, so I don’t offer plans which can limit your options or
increase your rates. Our rates are fair and calculated very simply. The
more you need, the higher the rate. So if you don’t need a lot, you don’t
pay a lot. That sounds fair doesn’t?
